Decades of research show unequivocally that men and women are equal in general intelligence (IQ), but that isn’t the case when it comes to emotional intelligence (EQ).

Trying to compare intelligence and gender doesn’t typically yield much in the way of productive discussion, but sometimes research comes along that makes opening this particular can of worms worth it.

Gender equality is not only a fundamental human right but a necessary foundation for a peaceful, prosperous, and sustainable world. There has been progressing over the last decades and laws are being reformed to advance gender equality.

It feels so great when your research is acknowledged. One of the memorable scenes was when the Professor said that to empower women to take up leadership roles, my presentation video would get broadcasted around the network.

In a multitude of environments, including civil aviation, where there are major gender disparities in several occupations, advancement for women in the workforce of employment has been slow. The industry’s rapid growth offers the opportunity for a comprehensive and positive framework for gender equality.

Challenges faced by women in a male-dominated career

Society is the mirror of what we are, what is our lifestyle, what is our thoughts and perspectives, what we thought about each other, etc. To carry a society at a free and bigger level, there are certain rules and regulations to follow. And, there are certain barriers and restrictions. But, we all know that Gender-discrimination is the biggest stereotype in our society where a woman has to face every challenge and she has to step out from every career-related race.

Let me show you a glimpse of presenting the presentation. It was such a mesmerizing project to draw up my perspective toward sustainable development for the advancement of male-dominated career fields.
