My Research Paper Published: A Data-driven Approach for CRM for Airlines with AI & IOT

I believe in the value of appreciation and encouragement that contributes to a high level of employee engagement. And, Employee Engagement is key to customer engagement. Employee involvement and appreciation are at the heart of our society and how we offer excellent customer support. And, that’s what CRM is. We don’t want to push our ideas onto customers, we simply want to make what they want.- Laura Ashley

Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is a vital aspect across all service sectors. It is a must factor to be considered in any business that Customer Service should not just be a group, it should be the whole company.

Customer relationship management is concerned with the engagement and sharing of knowledge between companies and their customers and other stakeholders. Its mission is to find out how to address all the needs and expectations of the company’s target groups, while at the same time covering the company’s objectives and bottom line. After all, customer satisfaction is directly related to business performance, so any measures that increase customer satisfaction will greatly increase corporate performance overall.

The data needed for CRM comes in different communication channels, such as official corporate websites, call centres, emails, combined loyalty programs, data mining, and the use of social media. This paper intends to establish a smart data-driven method for improving CRM with reasonable use of Artificial Intelligence and the Internet Of Things.

Communication is the center point

For these reasons, effective and careful CRM aviation methods are crucial if we are to remain competitive in the marketplace. While airlines are known to give incentive packages to their loyal patrons, successful customer relationship management goes beyond that. It needs hiring and maintaining workers who are not only patient but also competent in airline policies and systems. The faster they can clarify and solve a problem, the better the airline can run, and the more happy customers can be. This means that staff will require daily training and make sure that they are as acquainted as possible with the specifics of the company as it would be relevant from the perspective of the customer.

The pressure does not have to fall wholly on employees, however. Social networking is a perfect way to communicate with clients, use friendly updates to notify them of the correct protocols to follow and alert them of any possible issues that occur. It’s no wonder that people around the world spend a lot of time on social media, so the more an airline presents itself online, the more probable it is that customers will see it. That way, consumers set themselves up for better service by learning how things operate while being confident that airlines respond positively to them as individuals.

When it comes down to it, airline passengers are not necessarily looking for something different from any other kind of customer. They want a fast, efficient, customized experience and, in the situation that the service is not up to a fair standard, they want alternatives.

CRM for Airlines

  • The core service for all airlines is providing basic transportation.

  • All other services like the choice of in-flight entertainment, onboard meals, quality of cabin crew, special assistance, etc are supplementary services aiding the core service.

  • Supplementary services help in product differentiation of the core product and create a competitive advantage by facilitating the use of core services and enhancing the value of the core service.

  • An airline’s effective CRM program can be a significant factor for sustainable revenues, product differentiation, achieving operational efficiency, and long-term growth of the organization.

Highlighting the main focus of Paper

  • Identification of the factors which result in dissatisfaction with the customer and loss of business and how these can be improved with emerging technology concepts like the Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

  • Identification of high-value passengers based on travel history by using advanced technologies at the airport. An airport has to become a smart airport using technologies like face recognition and become a center for data collection.

Raga Conference: My Research Paper Published

Decades of research show unequivocally that men and women are equal in general intelligence (IQ), but that isn’t the case when it comes to emotional intelligence (EQ).

Trying to compare intelligence and gender doesn’t typically yield much in the way of productive discussion, but sometimes research comes along that makes opening this particular can of worms worth it.

Gender equality is not only a fundamental human right but a necessary foundation for a peaceful, prosperous, and sustainable world. There has been progressing over the last decades and laws are being reformed to advance gender equality.

It feels so great when your research is acknowledged. One of the memorable scenes was when the Professor said that to empower women to take up leadership roles, my presentation video would get broadcasted around the network.

In a multitude of environments, including civil aviation, where there are major gender disparities in several occupations, advancement for women in the workforce of employment has been slow. The industry’s rapid growth offers the opportunity for a comprehensive and positive framework for gender equality.

Purpose of sketching this Research Paper

However, a bunch of problems need to be addressed if the future of women in civil aviation is not just to uphold the discriminatory practices of the past. This working paper is just a first step in resolving some of these concerns and explores the aviation industry’s prospects for fixing them. It has been shown that the practice of binding thoughts to paper eliminates worries and contemplation and increases the capacity to specifically focus.

This paper aims to render a detailed view of women in careers dominated by men. How she overcomes different obstacles and makes her worthy of standing in every professional life. The primary goal, along with authentic reports and data, is to examine and spotlight women in aviation. Women in the aviation industry are a critical resource to help fulfill the industry’s rising needs for the workforce.

Challenges faced by women in a male-dominated career

Society is the mirror of what we are, what is our lifestyle, what is our thoughts and perspectives, what we thought about each other, etc. To carry a society at a free and bigger level, there are certain rules and regulations to follow. And, there are certain barriers and restrictions. But, we all know that Gender-discrimination is the biggest stereotype in our society where a woman has to face every challenge and she has to step out from every career-related race.

Let me show you a glimpse of presenting the presentation. It was such a mesmerizing project to draw up my perspective toward sustainable development for the advancement of male-dominated career fields.

Women have to face challenges at every stage in their lives. She is pressurized if she is an adult, from picking a career area to embracing the community. And if she’s a working mom or married woman, she has to battle every single moment, from cooking breakfast to presenting designs. For what, only the place, what she holds but is not respected nor rendered.

  1. Discrimination against parenting
  2. Sexual Harassment
  3. Global Gender Pay Gap
  4. Class and Culture
  5. Climbing the Career Advancement
  6. Work-Life Disparity
  7. Office Favouritism
  8. Unsupportive Managers

My Research Paper Published: Artificial Intelligence for Air Safety

I am very glad to announce that my Research paper which was one of my MBA projects is successfully published at the European, Mediterranean, and Middle Eastern Conference on Information Systems. I along with my team have written this paper to improve aviation safety with the prudent use of artificial intelligence. The paper concentrates on how the use of artificial intelligence can counteract the impact of factors like pilot fatigue, adverse weather, and false alarms that influence flight safety.

Artificial intelligence or AI, for now, is no longer just a hypothetical subject that Sci-Fi fanatics are tossing around. With AI, our world is getting more and more unified. You connect with AI when you tell your Google Home, Amazon Echo, or even Siri to play your chosen playlist.

Today, this intelligent technology is more realistic than it ever was in the past and AI’s future seems as promising as ever.

Undoubtedly, The ideal version of Google will be Artificial Intelligence. All on the web will grasp the universal search engine. It would comprehend what you wanted exactly and it will give you the right thing. Now we’re nowhere near doing that. Nevertheless, we can get increasingly closer to that and that is essentially what we are focused on.

Artificial Intelligence in the Hub of the Aviation Industry

The aviation industry is always striving for ways to develop its aviation facilities, such as the logistics chain, maintenance service, and airport climate among others. Yet air safety has always been the foremost concern for the aviation industry. Although 2019 was the third safest year in commercial flight record last year, it also witnessed 280 fatal deaths and 20 fatal crashes.

The use of AI (Artificial Intelligence) technology in commercial aviation has contributed to some big changes in the way flights work today. AI tools and technologies are being used by the world’s leading airliner service providers to offer a more customized travel experience to their customers. AI will perform an even more important role in the aviation industry, from strengthening AI-powered airport booths to using them to simplify airline operations and security checks.

It has been found that artificial intelligence is incredibly potent and numerous studies have shown how the use of artificial intelligence can deliver major changes in aviation. For advanced analytics, pattern detection, auto-scheduling, targeted ads, and customer feedback analysis, a few airlines already use artificial intelligence that shows impressive outcomes for a better flight experience.

This paper is intended to improve aviation safety with the prudent use of artificial intelligence. The most important factor in any industry is Safety. And, when it comes to Aviation, it’s the major one.
